1901 Ashley River Rd, West Ashley, Charleston SC 29407 - inside Magnolia Park shopping plaza. Free parking right outside the door.

What are your hours?

We're open Sunday through Friday, 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM. We are closed on Saturdays.

What kind of food do you serve?

Authentic Israeli and Mediterranean street food - slow-roasted shawarma carved fresh off the spit, handmade falafel, crispy schnitzel, smash kebab, sabich (fried eggplant & egg), and a full hummus bar. Everything made from scratch daily.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes - several dishes are vegan (V) or gluten-free (GF), including Falafel, Roasted Cauliflower, Cabbage Steak, Baked Cauliflower, and Seasoned Fries. All dietary tags are clearly marked on the menu.

Do you have gluten-free options?

Yes. Falafel, Roasted Cauliflower, Cabbage Steak, Seasoned Fries, and Baked Cauliflower are all gluten-free. Please note: tahini and amba contain sesame, a top-9 US allergen.

How much does it cost?

Starters from $10. Pitas $12–$18. Bowls $17–$22. Hummus bar $12–$19. Add fries & soda for $5, or upgrade to a premium Israeli drink for $6.50.

Is the shawarma actually authentic?

Yes. Mazal was founded by brothers Gal and Tal Alhadef, born in Israel, who grew up cooking alongside their grandmother Mazal. The shawarma is slow-roasted on the spit, hand-carved daily, and served with homemade tahini, hummus, and Israeli salad - exactly as it's done in Tel Aviv.

Do you offer delivery?

Yes - Mazal is available on DoorDash for delivery. Order at doordash.com or search Mazal in the DoorDash app. For pickup, call us at (843) 425-8551.

Is there parking?

Yes - free parking in the Magnolia Park shopping plaza, right outside the restaurant.
